African Businesses are brimming with talent, ideas, and products, yet many struggle to find trusted partners or reliable ways to expand beyond their borders. This reality is what inspired me to start ASIDEKA.

Having the opportunity to work in Ghana, Kenya, the DRC, Ethiopia and Djibouti, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for entrepreneurs to navigate fragmented markets, unclear trade policies, and a lack of reliable business information. These challenges not only slow down growth but also prevent African businesses from reaching their full potential in regional and global trade.

My rich African experience and understanding of innovation systems, intermediation, and adoption showed me that solving these issues isn’t just about technology but about building bridges — connecting knowledge silos across economies, strengthening networks that foster trust, and generating actionable insights that businesses can rely on.

With ASIDEKA, I want to apply this experience to Africa’s biggest trade challenges. By linking economies, strengthening cross-border networks, and providing market intelligence businesses can trust, we aim to reduce barriers, spark collaboration, and empower entrepreneurs to trade with confidence.
